Description:	EARS WIDE OPEN: Celebrating Women in Music In conjunction with MINDS WIDE OPEN: Virginia Celebrates Women in the Arts 2010, the Chorale presents an engaging program of a millennium's worth of music by women composers. From the music of Hildegard and Fanny Mendelssohn to world premieres by award-winning composers Deborah Mason and Giselle Wyers, the program features women's voices from around the world. Joining the Chorale are Bellissima! women's choral ensemble, and the Chorale's high school honors choir, the Young Singers Project. The centerpiece of the program is the beautiful a cappella Requiem of Eleanor Daley.
