When the world's most famous scientist dies, does he go to heaven or hell? Neither, of course; he goes to Malibu! This ingenious new comedy finds Charles Darwin spending his afterlife lounging around a Malibu beach house, observing pelicans, sipping banana milkshakes, and befriended by a California girl young enough to be his great-granddaughter's great-granddaughter. Things shake up when two more famous dead people show up: biologist Thomas Huxley and Bishop Samuel Wilberforce, still stuck in their classic 150-year-old debate over religion and evolution. In this funny and fierce battle of wits they answer many of life's toughest questions: How did they fit the dinosaurs onto Noah's Ark? Are there shotguns in the afterlife? And, the most important question of all, why none of them managed to get into heaven!
